Should still work.... if you load the skin up it should stretch and look OK ? I was playing on my wide screen and it apprears that CB works in 800x600 no matter what any way... strange.

Great can't wait to get a copy of the skin to try out. Let us know when/where to find it.

For anyone who's worried about using widescreen-only skins on graphics cards that won't do 16x9 resolutions, Terran is right, you can stretch it.

If the skin is defined as 800x480, you can set the DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight in the Skin.ini to 800x600 (or whatever your desktop resolution is), then when this is displayed on your 16x9 screen (assuming you have one), it'll be stretched back to the original aspect ratio.

Kinda the same effect as Anamorphic DVDs.

I'm nearly finished adding keyboard control to CarBox, and at the same time creating a configuration application, so less ini file editing is required. Not sure exactly when it'll be though, really busy at the moment.

CarBox version 0.5 is now release, and available for download from the usual place. Changes since the last release are: -

- Keyboard Control.

CarBox can now be controlled via the keyboard, as well as touchscreen/mouse. This means also that you can program your Remote Control using Girder etc, to control it that way.

- Configurator Application.

Included is now a Configurator application, which lets you easily configure the application, without tweaking ini files.

It would be useful if someone with Girder could test it with a remote control, as I don't have one and therefore can't!

KICK ***, just what Ive been waiting for. I can finally add a remote to my system. I allmost started using Media Car again. It is just to buggy though.
