I have now updated CarBox to allow you to stretch to any screen resolution, including all buttons and fonts etc.
It works fine, but can look a bit odd, depending on how you change the aspect ratio. Should help some people, but I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and make skin-with-hotspots an option, as well as buttons as it currently has. I kinda prefer buttons though because you can easily move them round the place if you want.
From a skin-makers point of view, which is preferred? Doing on-and-off skins and defining hotspots, or individual buttons?
Cheers,
Sy

When using the playlist I notice that some of my songs have a - before hand. Any ideas why, they do not have this on Winamp, I appreciate that the functionality of Carbox is far superior to Winamp 3 as it uses WMP9 I have to say I wam a Winamp user and am not used to WMP9 playlists so its likely is the way I am using it
Also is there a way I can configure the ini file to accept some form of method for adding support for a third party application, (I'm trying to put in the DLink Radio) can I add icons to the skin mself or is this in your code?
The skin to me seems to be the best for my uses that I have found to date, I have to say the Destinator and WMP9 works so well!!!! I used it today ina test and it worked flawslessly however I was running the Media player at one point and had a route plotted, I chose to close the application and then go back to it later haveing the same route and song playing but on presing the exit X icon it restarted the PC (EPIA-M 9000 Windows XP Pro SP1 and all the latest updates) I had only run NAI's antivirus (Auto startup) prior to choosing a song, plotting the route and exiting
An Excellent application I look forward to future releases,
All the very best

The current playlist display calculates the name based on "Artist - Track", from the files Id3 tag. If the tag doesn't specift an Artist then the display shows "- Track". If you fix your Id3 tags, this should sort it.Originally Posted by slarty
At the moment the choice is only for one "embedded" application, either GPS or something else of your choosing. I will add more embedded windows in future releases. You can see if it will work by trying to embed into the existing GPS window.Originally Posted by slarty
Not sure about that. The close box just closes the application, it is not programmed to and does not attempt to close down Windows. I'd suggest this is something in your setup, though what I'm not sure!Originally Posted by slarty

I imagine it is that highly stable Haicom USB to Serial bridge doing its thing with the OS as thats the only unstable driver that was in use on shuting down the applicationOriginally Posted by GingerPrince
