    ME 2.0 + Dvd + Epia M = Blank

Subject says most of it. Why can't i play dvd? it just goes to a blank screen, nothing happens.

Well i'm going to download WinDVD... i figured ME would be able to play dvd's without any other software loaded. (unless i'm doing this wrong)

You would need a software decoder installed. I believe if you just install WinDVD or PowerDVD it should work just fine.

When playing DVD's you need either a software decoder or a hardware decoder. For a hardware decoder you can buy one soley for DVD decoding or they come on most newer vid cards or it will come with, WinDVD or PowerDVD like stated above

Actually ME 2.0 uses mswebdvd to play dvds
but the same thing applies, you need a dvd codec
    installed.
