Talisman Desktop CarPC Theme?

Does anyone have a good carPC theme for Talisman Desktop? I started to make one of my own, but it's not the best since I'm not great with graphics and design. I have tried the other programs out there, but didn't like any of them. After playing around with 4 or 5 apps it seems to me that Talisman is the best for me. The only problem is the lack of good CarPC/HTPC skins!

I am in the same situation - working on a CarPC, possibly with Talisman (it looks pretty cool). I haven't seen much in the line of usable skins, so I will probably end up making my own, especially since most of the CarPC interfaces seem to be best suited for smaller LCDs and I will have a big display (15" - CRT though, I'm poor). I don't think I would be happy with an interface I didn't design, so I will probably come up with a theme so it will be exactly, or close to, what I want. However, I'm not good at graphic design either, so it won't look beautiful - probably just some quick photoshop labels or something.

I was in the same situation but I finally buckeled down and played with some images found for the ME skins and modified them to fit my tastes.....

The one I'm running is for 800x600 and works well.. I just wish my LCD was a little better in the text reading ability.. (one day I'll buy that Xenarc)
Until then I'll deal with what I made. Here's a picture of it if your interested. This christmas break from school I'm gonna redo the molding around the screen as I messed it up and rushed through it. Also other pictures of my PC in my RSX can be found here

There it is.. I still have some tweaking that I have to do, but that will come over break since I did this one in 2-3days before schiool started... Once I get some time I'll be able to work out the small kinks in it.

thanks man...I'm gonna take a look at this later and see what I can use. I also threw something together, but yours looks nicer in the screenshots.

My CarPC is finally up and running. The only thing I need to do now is get the perfect interface and mount this thing! Everything is built on the hardware end and the wiring in the car is complete and tested. Can't wait to get this done!

Hey, are you using Talisman? I thought this skin looked familiar. Your car is the first CarPC I had ever seen. A year or two ago when I first started thinking about doing this I searched the web and came up with your page. Long before I knew of mp3car or even that there are many other people out there with the same ideas. Nice job by the way!

I think this skin is perfect for me. Goes very well with my car even! Just need to change the background to a more suitable logo and change the icons a little. The software seems to be the hardest and most frustrating part!!!

Check my home page out.... if your OK with the conditions , ie a readme.txt file acnologing everbody involved as there are more than my self and a link to you site or pictures and a copy of the finnished version etc... you can have a copy of the all the source images.

I try to work with in a set of rules my self so every port can have the 'Contrast' skin name. Sounds complicated but it works... a bit like Mc D's - you can go in to any one any where and when you order a Big Mac you know what your getting... same with all my ports.
