    I use TweakXP Pro, http://www.totalidea.com/frameset-products.htm. It's not free but it does put three icons on you desktop for Shutdown, Hibernate and restart. Not to mention 100's of other tweaks that are quite helpfull.

    Are you running W2k3? I tried that under XP and it didn't do anything and it doesn't show up in help either.
