Destinator 3 SDK availability schedule information

    Hey all

I made up the following spiel and sent it across to sdk@destinator1.com:

    Hi,

We are considering using custom software with GPS integration to enable us to track our delivery drivers and ambulances, on the Windows platform (not PocketPC)

After searching the web, we have narrowed the GPS portion down to a few choices, with yours being one of them. We are interested in your software due to the SDK which is available, and will enable us to integrate the GPS into our own custom application which is being written in-house.

The features such as Trip Planning, POI and Route Avoidance that are available in Destinator 3 and not in Destinator 2 look very promising. Obviously, as these are features which we would like to possibly use, we feel that it is best if we are able to develop with the Destinator 3 SDK.

Could you please advise as to when the Destinator 3 SDK (and, also, of course, the actual software itself) for Windows will be available.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Regards,

And recieved the following back today:

    Dear Mr. Mitchell,

Thank you for your interest in Destinator.

The fully functioned SDK will be ready in spring 2004. We will have the
earlier releases with limited functionality. I expect the first release
    in January.

Please, visit our website for updates. We will also try to keep you
    posted.

    Thank you.

    Alex
Hope this helps for anyone who is looking to embed Destinator 3 into their project
