    Screwy docked toolbox in VB6!!

Ok, so I fired up VB6 to do a little more work with the ALEXIS interface today, and somehow, the damned toolboxes got themselves "docked" right off the top edge of the screen! I can't get to the topbar to move them, and even if I set them not dockable, they restore to a normal little window, but cannot ever be docked again, or they go right back to where they were.

I need those palettes to be dockable, as that's the only way to get them onto the second monitor and out of my way in the main screen.

Anybody ever dealt with this? This is so frustrating that I'm going to scream, puke, then beat something up, not necessarily in that order...

No. Not to me yet. I made stuff disappear in vb.net the other day. Took a while to get them back. !/2 the stuff stopped working too so I have to go back to vb6. I am delaying my development too.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway

Could you take a screen shot?

I might be able to help if I can figure out what your talking about.

Try dragging your 2nd monitor above your 1st monitor on your display settings screen. (so that it looks like your monitors are stacked) Now see if you can get to them. They should be at the bottom of the 2nd monitor.

That's a damn good suggestion. I never would have thought of that.

Great. NOW that suggestion comes along, AFTER that hard drive crash forced me to re-install everything, thereby eliminating the problem in the first place! However, I agree, that is one hell of a good suggestion! Now if I run into this problem again, and it works, I shall resurrect this thread just to post up about it!
