It starts up fine, it just seems to be jerkier movement than the built-in one. I'm guessing that you blit the whole frame every time, and the built in one maybe moves the image, and just blits the new bit that's been moved into zoom area...if you see what i mean.

I think the suggestion about "looks like a big magnifier" means instead of having a stationary window that zooms what's under your mouse, he wants a large magnifying glass to move with the mouse, and zoom in that. Kinda like an app you used to be able to get for the Atari ST!

Hmm, wonder if it's an Athlon -v- Intel thang? I'll try it on my Athlon at home tonight.

It might be sampling TOO fast for some computers/vid cards. I will make this adjustable.

It could possibly be the hotkey code, I didn't subclass, I used waitmessage and peakmessage to check for keypress. I will subclass instead and see what happens.
It has way too much cpu usage it seems.

I think I fixed it, I'll upload an updated version later today.
