How fast can restart from hibernation happen?
I've got my XP Pro down to around 18 seconds from button press to music playback when hibernated. It takes around 6 seconds to hibernate. This is on an AMD XP1800 system with 128 meg of PC 133 RAM. I don't care much about actual boot times since I almost never boot, I use hibernation about 90 % of the time. Restarting from XP (no programs running when I click restart, I time it until Meda Center 9.1 starts playback) takes around one minute and 6 seconds, and I haven't disabled a single service yet, but on the XP installation I had on the computer before, with all unnecessary services disabled, it took...1 minute and 16 seconds!
Anyway, are there any tips that may reduce that restart from hibernation time? Thanks in advance!
