Album art downloader

ok i can do that.. when they aren't found now a button should be listed saying no album are found.. you can then click that button and it'll display all art by the artist.. you can select which image you want and it'll use that one. But i'll add a log feature to output all not found art also

I didn't realize that it would search for all art by clicking the button. I was also confused about needing to click the save button after the search has run. Got it figured out now and working great for adding covers that weren't found automatically. One other thing I've noticed is that sometimes it will find a cover, but the button is blank. The jpeg that is saved is 0 kb. I'll attach a screen shot to show you what I'm talking about. The button/cover I'm talking about is for the Queens of the Stone Age-Songs For The Deaf. It would be nice to have the click search utility available for the blank button and maybe all buttons just in case the wrong cover is found. Notice the other Queens album cover for R that has a Black Flag cover in it.

yes i've noticed the problem also.. with a 311 album i have. I think its because there is no cover art on amazon's site for the page it finds. I am going to look into that. Hopefully i will have a new build up in a 2-3 hours

ya see here is an example of my 311 - transistor issue. I'm sure its the same for you

You'll notice the there is no art on the amazon website. I'm gonna see if i can check for that in the webservice somehow or after i grab the image.

edit.. it looks like your issue is its finding the first match and there are others that have the art. So i'm sure i can come up with a fix for a null sized image

ok new version uploaded. It should fix the crashing issues this time. *cross fingers* I didn't fix the blank image problem. I am still working on a way around that. Whatever I did made it fly in windows on my tests.. so hopefully others will see speed increases

tried downloading the zip file, says it's corrupted or invalid.

that happens on my gf's windows machine also if i don't save it to the harddrive first. So instead of opening it after you click on the link.. save it to the disk

I noticed that I'm getting alot of error while saving image! messages when I go to add covers not found. Around 15 of these until it's finally able to save the image. Not sure if this is a bug or just the way the program has to work.
