Sorry to dig this up, but I'm having a little trouble.
My problem is that I don't have full albums, so my directories are basically:
d:\Music\artist\song1.mp3, song2.mp3....
from all different albums. And I hate nesting a song three folders deep when it's the only song I have by a particular artist. I also sort some of my stuff by genre, like
d:\Music\Classical\classicalsong1.mp3, classical2.mp3...
I guess I'm basically screwed, huh? I also checked another program like yours that downloads tracks, but it embeds the images in the ID3 tags. That should work better, but the program doesn't seem to be able to get past about 10 tracks before it seems to stop downloading. I tried making the dirs smaller, but that didn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kris

Superduck - I have a similar problem, if you find a solution, please tell me.
I have mainly a directory
/music/title1.mp3, title2.mp3, ... , title99999.mp3
and didn't find a suitable art downloader yet.
I don't mind repeating the album files for every track, I simply want a jpg for every titles...

i was working on a version to read Id3 tags.. i can still do this.. but where do you want the cover art placed.. in the same directory as the mp3's? do you want it called like
title1.mp3 => title1.jpg
or like
title1,.mp3 => artist - album.jpg

My vote is for title1.jpg. I don't use the artist in the filename. Though it's not always just about me, or so my psychiatrist tells me.Originally Posted by hijinks21

Thanks, that is a great news
I would myself like if you put the file in the same dir, and have it named like the MP3 exception made of the .jpg at the end.
BTW this should be frodoplayer compatible.
