    Destinator SDK Question

Anyone using the SDK for Destinator (or other GPS apps) that could answer a quick question? I'm wondering if, during navigation, information such as the next turn, direction and distance are readilly available?

I am contemplating how useful this would be on a serial/USB LCD char display mounted on the dash, a 4x40 display could show track info and directions quite neatly.

    Chris.

With the Destinator, yes, this information is easily available. The documentation provided with the Destinator SDK is quite good, and provides you information about all these things.

Anyone have any Destinator SDK examples written in Delphi by any chance?

The SDK comes with a sample program written in Visual Basic and C. I tried to play around with the Visual Basic version, but I couldn't get the source to run in the debugger in VB.Net.

VB.net and VB6 are entirely different beasts. Alike only in name.

Things written for one won't work in the other!

I guess it's my COM in Delphi that is lacking, need to look up some examples. Thanks anyway!

Okay, I have the SDK running. Has anyone been able to write an app with the SDK that will attach to an already running copy of Destinator? I wanted to write an app that would query the current route and display summary information but I didn't want to host the entire application, just access the current one via COM.
