2000 Pro question

I have a compu with windows 2000 pro...somehow I messed the desktop display properties, anyone how to get to the default display...I changed some colors of the font someway and it matches the back round so it's really hard guessing what you are clicking on!

hit f8 during boot-up to enter safe mode. This will cause your computer to boot using the default system video driver with 16 colors and 600X800 resolution. You can reset whatever you changed before (by clicking start - settings - control panel ... double click 'display') and reset your original settings. You will be prompted to reboot and your desktop after reboot should be back to normal.
