    Windows 2000 Lite?

Is there any win 2000 lite?
Of reasons you can find in other threads
I can't have Windows XP in my car.
Is there any way to make Windows 2000 boot faster,
Windows 2000 lite or something like that.

    Why can't you use XP?

2000 lite does not really speed it up, but a few seconds at best.

Do some searches on google for what files can be removed. I beleive I read somewhere that just by removing printer drivers and other stuff that loads on start (like OE, Internet Explorer) you can make the machine boot much faster. then just get Mozilla Firefox for a browser and your set.

I can't use Windows XP because I only get error messages when trying to use mediaCar and Philips Aurilium.
I have heard that in Windows 2000 there is no such problem.

I know everyone likes the newest and best but if you can't go with XP (and use xp embedded or xp-pe http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/)

then maybe you should just use win98 or me, both of which can be stripped down very small.

The problem is the Aurilium, It only works with XP or 2000.
    But I haven't tried xpe or xp-pe
Don't know if they can solve my problems.
