Thread: need soft that rescans hardware after STD

I have the following problem and i searched already this forum but sinc english isnt my native language i could have missed something.

I m searching for a little tool that rescans the hardware - espacially USB devices cause after supend to disk my usb gps isn t recognized anymore ( don t know what i did have this probeme since 2 weeks )
so the serial port isnt active after reboot form std mode.
when i go to the hardware tab and make a " search for chages" the gps serial port is active again " but doing this every time starting pc is very annoying

SO is there a tool that could do it for me ? or which i could call with girder ?

i could remember having seen such a tool on this , the frensh or the german forum but now i m searching since 2 days without luck .

Use Devcon.exe to unload and reload USB Devices.
Or you can try replacing the USB files extracted from XP SP2 RC1.
