    Looking for a photo browser

    Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a simple photo browsing program that I could use externally or embedded.

I don't need anything super fancy, just want to be able to show pics if I'm at a car show or something. I imagine the buttons should be fairly easy to use with a touch screen, but I could also use a mouse, no problem.

Does anybody know of a program that I could download?? And no, this is not for looking at porn while driving.

If you're using XP, you can setup explorer to display thumbnails.

i have a mate who uses irfanviewer which can make any windows os act like xp the way you doubleclick a picture and it previews rather than opening/slide show of pics

it's handy if you're not on xp, don't know if it's what you're looking for though

I am using XP. I had never thought of using Explorer for that. Can you give me a quick run thru of how to set that up?

    Thanks.

in whatever folder your pics are in , go to the View menu @ top then go to " filmstrip" or "thumbnails"; OR JUST RIGHT CLICK ON ANY PICTURE FILE AND GO TO PREVIEW

OK, now for the kicker of a question.

How can I get MediaCar to go to that from the launcher??

Of course, the way you described to look at pics is the way I normally look at them. But I'm trying to find a way that can make it easily go straight to the pics without any major navigation or button pushing.

That's why I was asking if there's a simple program that I could use.

I have one program that came with my digital camera, but to be honest, I don't like the way it works very much.

    quick and easy-

In Media Car you can set the type of compatible video formats-- if you add jpg then they will show up in the menu and you can browse/view them within the MC video viewer-

I read about it awhile ago in this forum--

    Hope that helps-
