I was viewing this thread and fired up MC to test, well as my Mozilla has "FrodoDVD" in the title, it found my browser first. So it embedded my browser !

How would you want it implimented ? (the choose a dvd on HD)
I need some ideas so I can make it as clean as possible.

Question: Will it play MPEG4 such as AVI files encoded in Divx? And since it can play DVDs, then it should be able to play MPEG1 and MPEG2 right?

An idea would be the following:

The DVD files are stored (ripped) into HD using DVDshrink. This produces files that are ready to be burnt onto DVD using any DVD burning software. We can then copy these files to a specified directory that was named after the DVD that was ripped. The next step would be for Frodoplayer to allow the selection of one of these DVD directories. After selection was finished frodoplayer could search for the .IFO files within the directory and start to play the movie. The same idea can be used to read the first VOB. file in the DVD directory. The user should only have to select the specific DVD directory. The rest should be done auto. by frodoplayer.

If you make it, so that you selects and head directory ex. "c:\my dvdripz"

and then your dvd player are finding all the vob files and makes a list of all the dvd movies there are in subfolders in the main directory.

This will be great.
