change color of windows startup background?

when windows xp starts up it says blah blah blah in a rectangle and in the background its all blue
i set my background to black but it still stays blue

is there anyway to change this blue to another color?

not too important but the little things bother me sometimes

I did this a while ago, but I never figured out how to change the color of the hibernate screen in win2k. Any ideas?

I tried this one and my cmos must "not follow the rules" b/c I couldn't reboot regular like once I installed it. I had to reboot into safe mode and disable the boot screen. I didn't try the alternate version I just uninstalled the product.

got to www.bootxp.net very cool program. wants you to register it for like $8.00 but you can still use it. you can find a way around that wink wink :D if you know how to do a little dark magic aka "hack it"
