dubwise: investigating....I haven't tried the pressed button switching with single click mode

    dodgetimes2: thank you

I'm just finishing the next release (small utility, fast release time ) and I'm adding the ability to "arm" the utility with a keypress. This will solve any compatibility issue by reversing the buttons before any mouse click. The bad is that for using it we'll need an additional button on the dash.
By pressing the arm key (actually the pause key) the utility changes to right click mode for a defined period. By clicking with mouse, letting the timeout pass or pressing again the arm button, the utility restores the situation. If you have some advice/request on it let me know....

It does not seem to operate with a few programs like Microsoft word 2000 and Microsoft Autoroute. In other programs that I have tried it it work great. Can someone help out?

    RightEmu 1.1.1 released

    I'm back again
So this release (1.1.1 Build 18) is really different from the others. I've added support for keypress arming and icon click arming, I've rewritten most of the hook code and included some minor graphic improvements.

    Let's see the major differences:

    - keyboard arming mean that you can "arm" the tool by pressing a key on the keyboard (or in the dash if you've some mapped)

    - icon arming means that you've a icon on top of the screen (moveable by dragging) and you can arm the tool by pressing it

With arming I mean that the tool, once armed, converts one (and only one) left click in right click for a specified periood of time (Timeout). This is really different from "Left click timeout" method where left click will be converted only after the timeout period! Note also that the timing parameter is unique for both methods!

The new hook code doesn't need for specific WinXP version so I built one for all platforms. You'll see also that I changed the icons:

    - normal mouse: the tool is waiting for user
    - mouse with hourglass: the tool is in the left click timeout mode and it's counting
    - mouse with left button in red: the tool is armed and the next click will be reversed.

NOTE: the new code solves some of the incompatibilities found (MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL) but due to the technique used, the "Left click timeout" method will never work in all cases . On the other side, the arming method (both keyboard and icon) is faultless....well unless I put a bug in the code

I apologize for the mistypes I've put in this post but I've just changed the keyboard and I need some training with the new one

edit: i forgot to describe how the keypress arming works. Once selected, you need to configure the arming key so press the "Set Key" button and then the key you want to become the arming one. The default is PAUSE (one of the less used keys on the keyboard). Now you can arm the tool by pressing the choosen key on the keyboard.

    Cheers

Most touchscreens now have this feature included with the driver. Since a lot of touchscreens are using the same driver.
