It's about 1.3 gigs unzipped
I've been working on a parser to put it into an access database.
So far it's about 1000% faster than any of the ones out there.
I'll post it up when I get done.

I am so in love with you Mr. Baggins. Anyone else notice how I change avatars about as much as I change clothes? Wait...that would be like once a month...errrrr I'll stop talking now
CarPC install is starting to come along again...
You may take that piece of code from pycar project:
http://pymedia.sourceforge.net/pycar
In src-zip it is pycar/audio/cddb.py
Good luck.
How do you get the entire database without paying the service from Gracenote? when I checked into it, I found that you have to go to www.gracenote.com and pay them to have the access to the database...along with mp3 license fees...just curious
I don't use CDDB. I use FreeDB. Why pay when I can get the same thing for free ?Originally Posted by HybridMike

I'm hoping to get local/remote FreeDB access into AIMEE.

Would this perhaps be based off of that DB parsing code you should me a little while ago? 'Cause I'm still trying to get the stains out of my chair when I ****ed my pants watching that thing in action.Originally Posted by frodobaggins
