How do you make the mp3s go solely off id3 tags?

I am sure this has been asked before, so i apologise .... but how do you go off solely the id3 tags? Most of my music is put into the right folders. However ... i'd like to be able to do search my artists, or albums instead. And not have to worry sometiems baout my sub folders?

do any of the media engine/media car/ etc ... do that???

Yeah i saw that ... was playing with it a bit the other day.
Which i think is what sparked it, cause i was playing with media engine&car before.

Is this the only one that does btw?
