iguidance2 (routis) in MediaCar

Okay, so I've almost everything running perfect in my car (tomorrow you'll see pics) except for one issue.

When I click on the GPS button within MC, iGuidance2 (routis) opens fine. When I want to switch to another app such as MP3, I exit it by clicking on the close botton. Now the problem lies when I try entering GPS again. When I click GPS, it lauches iGuidance2 again (and now there are 2 iguidance programs open). Not only that, I then have issues finding the receiver when more than one iguidance is open.

Basically, I need to know how to swich back and forth between iGuidance2.0 and te oter apps in MediaCar without relaunching iGuidance over and over again.

Also, please tell me how you have GPS configured in MC setup, maybe that's the problem. Thanks everyone.

Are you telling MC to embed iGuidance?? Also, are you providing a good search string for it?

I have Routis embedded in MC and I use Routis as the search string without the astericks *. I am also using the RoutisHandler program to automatically click OK at the beginning, so I have the path set for RoutisHandler.

I think MC is probably not closing out iGuidance properly.

I have 'embeded' checked off.
I'm not sure whether I have the asterisk removed in the search string. (Another question, could someone explain what the search string is about)

I'm assuming that even though its iguidance v2.0, I should still put in 'Routis' cause its the same??

So, with yours, when you switch back and forth betwen music and GPS, it doesn't actually exit and then relauch, does it? It just opens & closes them, right?
