Flask is probably the best program I've ever used for converting dvds to 3ivx, divx, xvid, or mpeg.

    You know it!

You can get it off of http://www.divx-digest.com

    It is freakin' slow though.

I have a P4 2.8ghz processor with a gig of ram, and it still takes flask about 7-10 hours to convert I think. I usually start it before I go to bed.

10 Hours! Man! There's got to be something better than that?

10 hours is nothing - my first time took over 24.... no joke. Obviously I'd not been doing something right...
