Yea, I feel the same way. Unfortunately I've already invested over 150.00 in my XM PCR. I will not like it if THEY take it away from me but i can live with it.

    A snippet of interest.

    Dear Kevin,

Thank you for contacting XM Satellite Radio.

We apologize for the delay in our response.

At this time, we have not announced any press releases to indicate the discontinuation of the XM PCR radio. Service will continue to be provided to current XM PCR radios, regardless.

Is it safe to get off eBay, as far as service activation is concerned, I am not concerned about eBay, my concern is that I would not be able to activate it.

Thanks, I was waiting on a reply to the same question. I don't believe it means much. I'm sure that the customer service people that answer emails get the news just slightly ahead of the time we subscribers do.

I just wanted to thank brooksware2000 for helping out a fellow forum member and selling me his XMPCR at the same price he bought it for (under $50).

kingtut, that's great news about not discontinuing service to XMPCRs. I hope they stick to it.
