Well if you are going to sell it for that crazy amount then do it soon.. I'm with the Hybrid crew (meaning I'm looking to help getting the commander or XMDirectto work) and a fix/solution isn't far behind.

HybridEngineer setup a paypal donation I'm sure we can raise $200.00 quickly or we can a few weeks for XMDirect..

I wonder how the XMDirect will work, since XM is removing the USB port on the SkyFi2

    This way too funny!!

I JUST bought mine on the 23rd from myradiostore.com for $44.95, and can't believe the frenzy just a few days later.

I then called up yesterday to buy a TOSLink. It was $39.95 on when I ordered the radio, and now they wanted $74.95.

I told him that I thought they were being opportunistic and trying price gauge, and that he should drop the price - especially since I just bought the radio. I guess he agreed, and gave it to me for $49 - which is reasonable.

In the long run however, I've seen things like this happen before and if people just wait a minute or two, another solution WILL present itself.

I got the toslink 2 days ago from them for $49.00 - looks like they pushed the price up a day or two ago.

Well, this kind of echos the vague customer service response posted earlier on this thread, but here is another response. Maybe if enough people whine they'll think about this some more.

    Dear Ben

Thank you for contacting XM Satellite Radio. We apologize for the delay in our response.

We certainly understand your frustration with this matter. Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience. There has not been any official word on the discontinue of the Xm PCR. We urge you to continue to check our website at xmradio.com for updates.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 1-800-xmradio.
As always please visit us at xmradio.com website for more information on how to save money with our multiyear packages.

Like many other consumers, I felt that this product was the only thing that really distinguished your product line from that of your competitor. My wife and I currently have 1 XM subscription, and had planned to get another (for an XMPCR device), but are now strongly considering moving to Sirius to take advantage of their online-music access (which still is no XMPCR, but better than what you can now offer us).

I do find it strange that they did not take the xmpcr page off their site, I mean, it is there with links to where to buy on-line and no hint that it is discontinued. May be they just suspended distripution for now till their legal team investigates the subject fully. I hope my reading between the lines is correct.
