    Weird request

Ok, i have a slightly weird coding request as i doubt this exist anywhere already.

I need to be able to use 2 keyboard shortcuts to move my mouse to a predefined area on my screen and then in one direction for the entire duration i hold the key down. So, in theory assuming im using the "J" key, and "K" key for the short cuts. I want to hit either key and the mouse automaticly goes to the top of my screen almost instantly and then depending on what key i hit the mouse would move left or right till i let the key go.

Any coders out there bored right now?

thanks if someone actually writes this.

I don't think it would be that hard... I did a quick search, could probably do it in VB maybe? Who knows man. I'd say possible though.

sweet, frodo, man , you are DA MAN!!

ok, here is the low down on the specifics.

if possible, each function for each key should be a seperate program (2 in total) so i can assign each one to any key. Or if they are global (which is cool) it can stay running in the background and i can assign them to some number keys or something i dont use to type. That may be the best way.

when key A is pressed mouse should jump instantly to top of screen centered in the middle and begin to slowly move to the right (speed settings would be cool but not critical)

when key B is pressed mouse should jump instantly to top of screen centered in the middle and begin to slowly move to the left.

If either key is pressed and the mouse is allready at the top of the screen, it should just move in the direction specified for that key and bypass the jump to top of screen part. So if the mouse is all ready at the top of the screen, pushing both of the set keys (not at same time) will make the mouse move from left to right.

mouse should only move if the key is held down
when i let the key go, after three seconds simulate a left mouse click

    thats about it.

    Thanks a ton!!!!

If I have time I'll do this tonight.

I have it set up right now with CTRL as a modifier key, is this acceptable ?

lol, was wondering when someone was going to ask what its for.

Well since my touchscreen dosent work anymore, i have to find new and inventive ways to navigate. I use this dock program thats at the top of my screen, and the only way to use it is to move your mouse over it.

    frodo:
CTRL would be bad. F9 and F10 would be good

    Thanks again.
