I had to use 8/8/8's analog sensors... So I will need one more for the 2 temp sensors (more to come), light sensors and a lot volt sensors...

I think it is difficult for someone to publish it's soft, since the functions are unique ofr every car model!!
Now way to amplify the voltage below 3.5 to above 4

thanks.... the spaces beside the temp and and above the AC are the displays for the front and rear temp readings and the fan speed. Since my controls are all analog with my unit i will have to go with the 4 servo controller from phigets. The vents are controlled by a vacuum, temp by a cable, and the fans are controlled by current but i already have more than 8 relays i need for the relay board. Sucks that i have to work around this cheap car. LOL

Does anyone know where i can find a servo that turns over 180* b/c you need to turn the temp knob way over 180 on both cold and hot side. And since it takes a little effort to turn then prob needs to be a high torque servo
    Thanks

I think most of the servos can be modified to turn up to 360 but you sucrifice speed (you don't care for this application)

but can you still program the servo to turn more than 180 with the phigets controller bc i think i once read that it can only go up to 180 with their controllers.

are they easier to control and program then servos and are they strong enough to move a knob like that?

they are not easier to control than servos. You will need to find or make a controller. I have a parallel port controller. the nice thing about steppers is that they have full 360 degree motion and you can control and know the exact position of the shaft. read up on steppers and you will undestand.

i tried to interface the stepper to my knobs but it did not work out, needed alot more torque, so i got rid of the whole thing and interfaced directly to the moving parts. I added a gear to the part that was driven by the rigid wire and installed my motor there.

    Hope this looks better

I do wish that I could make it into something universal, but everyone's HVAC system is different
