    This applies to everything...

Anything is possible given enough money and time

Yes they have temp sensors that can be read by microcontrollers. The hard part will be the "logic" behind it all as that is all done by code.

Has anyone concidered using some of the small PLC's like Allen-Bradleys Micrologix or CompactLogix. Programming of Inputs and Outputs is a doddle with ladder logic. CompactLogix has PID control that would be good for temperature control via analogue I/O, serial port can be used to interface to PC

    Here is an update!!!
Ignore INSIDE TEMP reading and appearance!!!
A/C works fine.. Having problem with Alarms (Hazard) when the PC shuts off/hiberantes.. But with the use of 2 relays it will be solved!!!

From the hardware part I am working on lock/unlock, windows, shock absorbers, auto lights (depending on lighting), auto hazard when hard braking, engine start for i.e. 3 minutes when voltage drops etc etc....
There is still WAY to go!

All button letters light blue when light turn on to much car interior.. Also the "leds" turn on!!

    The background is temporary!!!

Using AB stuff would be kinda pricey wouldnt it?
