    Talking A/C and Heat controling software

    Is there a program out there that will control them? I looked around a lil bit but didnt see anything other than music/media software. thanks for helpin a n00b...

    The hardware depends on the make and model of your car. As far as generic software, I'm not aware of any, but the code to emulate a couple knobs and sliders is cake. It's hooking it up to the car's hardware that makes the project a bit more difficult, but there are a few people here working on it.

    ^yeah thats what i was thinkin..... its gonna be hard to control the vacume tubes......

    I am working on a similar project right now!!
    HVAC control.. Neon, door, windows controls etc..
    Also the background will change when lights turn on, doors open, night (with light sensor) etc etc..
    Also parking door control...

    The buttons havea push-effect...


    Ignore the empty boxes..

    DJ - how did you get those buttons, any tips

    Im starting a skin for FrodoPlayer and i want to have the look of my factory car[lexus GS] buttons

    im thinking take a high res photo of the buttons and import them into photoshop or something??

    I am using phidgets too and visual basic!!
    Everything is with photoshop!!!!

    Here are some more.. Still not finished.. Not done the reflections too!!
