Routis in Linux on a Mac??

I saw a few threads where people said they had Routis going under Linux. There was the article that pointed to the guy who used Crossover Office and the guy who used Wine. I'm just curious-not that i'm a macster, but would it be possible to run Routis on a Mac using this method? Could someone potentially use Crossover Office on Yellowdog and get routis running? Has anyone ever attempted this?
