    heres what i was thinking:
say we could extract the POIs from SA2005. Perhaps in the POI data, we could find the latitude and longitude coordinates of a certain POI.
Therefore, we could then use a 3rd party application that one of us could create that would have all the POI's, and when one is selected, it would input the coordinates into iguidance via the 'enter coordinate' option..

Edit: if D3 has a 'enter coordinate' option, then our 3rd party POI app would work with that also..

Hey all! This is my first post now that I'm a proud owner of a 2002 Camry XLE with navigation system! I can't wait to get crackin' on figuring out all the snazzy features of this thing.

To start though, I'd like to get this navigation system software updated. Anyone know where I could download the DVD or could you possibly make me a copy? I'll pay for shipping and other expenses.

There's also other stuff I want to figure out like how to get rid of that initial language selection/warning screen. I don't want to have to press "agree" every time I turn on my car.

Also, is there any way to play actual DVDs on this thing? i haven't even begun to look into the features of this thing, but I'm wondering if anyone's hacked it yet?

Anyone with tips/tricks/etc please email me or respond to this thread! Thanks!

The lexus club could be useful but I'm not exactly sure what the convertors are for? I guess I don't really understand the capabilities of this new gadget. Does this mean you can turn it into a regular video screen so it could play DVDs and stuff? Hopefully someone in the lexus owner's club will have the latest software. Thanks

i guess no one's looking at this thread anymore. Anyone know what navigation software is compatible with my 2002 Toyota Camry navigation system? And the above questions still apply to if anyone has an answer. TIA

I am new to the club and have read all the forums I can find on my subject of the gps nav. system. I want to update it without having to pay $300. I know there must be some soft ware out there somewhere. Can any one help?
