    Post Winamp playlist order help

    Hey,
    I'm just about ready to put my computer into my car so I've been working on getting winamp going and working how I want it to. I made a new playlist the other day (I used the add a directory feature) and it put all the songs into the playlist randomly. Is there anyway to get winamp to put the songs into the playlist in alphabetical order? I've searched on this board but I found nothing. I prolly just have some dumb opition pressed or something like that but I just can't figure it out. Please email or post to help me, thanks a bunch.

    You might have to search for a plugin. I doubt if one really exist. Also it all depends on what app/software u are using on your box. If you were using CobraI/II then u don't have to worry about it. CobraI don't really sort it but if ur files are sorted accordingly then u are set. CobraII will sort it for u based on artist/filename...ur choice. CobraIII will also sort it based on ur choice but that is still in the development stage.

    Yea, misc button -> sort list -> alphabetical/by path/both

    I sort by directory then alphabetically
