    Thumbs up

considering I worked on Mpxf with ColdBlood.. Yes I do know about continued development.

The FINAL release (available at my website: http://www.radioactivesoft.com) is FREE to ANYONE.

However, If you want source, you either have to have been a registered user, or register to obtain a copy of the source.

    sorry, I misread your post.

just remember, you can't release the source to anyone other then registered users, and can't make a profit from it.

    Have fun,

lol...one way or the other that source code will get to those that haven't even registered. I think he should just give it out for free.

Cenwesi... I just wanted to make sure that I let you know that: I HATE YOU.

you always tell people to do things your way. Tell peopl their way isn't good enough. What if people didn't have a mind of their own??? There would be millions of Cenwesis walking around the earth, and that would certainly be hell.

If you don't have an argument, then you always seem to pull a negative comment from somewhere within the depths of your fat ***.

Here are my hints to you:

    Stop being dogmatic
    Stop being negative
    Stop being egotistical
    Stop visiting MP3Car

Just want to tell you what i think about all this. I recon with the final release of MPXF, this great front-end software will disapear of the horizen as new version of MPXPlay comming out.

1st of all I think the people who registerd the MPXF will not be a computer programmers as they would write the own software to suit their needs (as i know many did).

2nd not many people program in Pascal (Im not talking about Delphi) as it sort of a dead language now.

So as far as i can see there is no future for the MPXF.
I would presonaly register the MPXF to get the source code if it was in C. And also the fact that its a front-end (uses TSR) is bothering me a bit.

But I do think that it would be a good idea to make the MPXF to be a open source as DUMP is(and lets not forget DUMP is a full player not a front-end and I think the auther of DUMP have put in as much effert as ColdBlood did with MPXF).
But of course I understand that it would be unfair for people who already have registred the MPXF.

AngryLlama and ColdBlood what you think of finding someone who would like to countinue
the development of MPXF on official level. In this case the MP3Car community will not have to rely on registered users to countinue the MPXFs development.
Also i think it would be good idea to convert the program from Pascal to C as there many C programmers who can support MPXF's development.
I personally could help you with conversion of some routines to C.

AngryLlama: Go take a chill pill ok. I don't care if u like me or not. I just don't give a damn. I am telling u as it is. And when did i tell people to do things my way. You must be dreaming. If i feel their way is not going to work out for them, I will tell them up front. I don't want them to go all the way and then find out it is not working out right or just don't work at all. Take quite a few ppl in #mp3car, i seem to recall telling them that their plan or idea isn't going to work. They didn't believe me, now they are back to square one. So if it looks like i am comming on hard on someone, thats because i don't want them to waste their time and effort on an idea that won't work.

    I know... Pascal sucks...

And I never said that MPXF *will* stay alive. MPXPlay is looking better. That is the main reason we DID stop developing MPXF.

If you say MPXF sucks, or that you don't want the source, then don't register it!! Its that simple. And If you did register it, I'm sure you enjoyed it while it was useful.

And Cenwesi, You can help people, but don't limit them, or tell them that your way is the only way, cause that really sucks. And you don't care what I think about you? Well.. you probably won't mind hearing everyone else here hates you too.
