    HELP Needed Choosing GPS Software!

I am using a CarPC and a Rikaline 6010 USB GPS Receiver.

I need North America Maps, support for a Rikaline 6010 USB Receiver , and software made for PC/Laptops.

What are your recommendations, I'm looking at the following, am I missing any significant one? I would really like it to be well integrated and have 3D views with voice navigation (i know S&T 2005 doesn't do this)

I like/use Routis 2004. The female voice prompts are pre-recorded and very natural, since all they say is "turn right/turn left.....1000 feet". The voice does not attempt to read actual street names (using that Microsoft speech engine that sounds like a robot)....

3D views are included with Routis, as well as an OSK for entering destinations......the interface is quite easy to navigate even while driving, buttins are large enough to touch, etc. The map screen and colors switch schemes at night for a dark, sleek look.

Alturion looks pretty sweet. Price and US map availible?

I'm using Destinator 3 and don't really like the tracks it sends you on... but the voice and visual aids are awesome. MS streets does a good job of driving you to the destination.. but will not instruct you to do so

if you are using frodoplayer.. your best options are IGuidance or Destinator...

pretty much all the PC based GPS software will support your rikaline...

avoid MS Steets and Trips 2005, i have it and its not made for incar navigation
Street Atlas is ok, but still could use a lot of help and you'll want something better. The interface with all those very tiny tabs at the bottom is allmost imposible to use in car.
CoPiolot 8 seems to be the only one that has a interface that looks like its touchscreen friendly and a lot of features that i want to try out. I havnt used it myself but if i had to make a choice based on what "seems" like the best out there, i would choose copilot 8.
I just got iGuidance 2.0 and its really cool, the voice nav is nice and so far the most accurate software out of the few i have. I could live with this and be content almost, but i really want to try out Copilot 8.
Destinator, routis and iGuidance 2.0 seem to be the favorites around here with the latter two being the same software.

    good luck,

    Routis = iGuidance?
Is iGuidance for PC? It looked like it was for PDA.

I think I'll either go with Destinator or CoPilot at least to try them out.

    Yes Routis = iGuidance
both are for pda and PC versions.
The PC version looks the same as the pda version except you have more screen space.
Most of the screen shots on the net are of the pda version, they dont even have pc screen shots on the developers site, not sure why, kind of dumb. I did find a site that had a review and had pc screenshots, ill try to see if i can find it again.

    Copilot or Iguidance v2

I'd say that with Copilot 8 it probably takes the cake (although i have never tested)
