    Post CDEX and ripping speed

    ok someone recomended it and it seems to work very well...the only problem is it's takeing 80min for a that is only about 60mins long...does anyone know how to speed up the ripping speed w/ out sacrificing the quality and w/out going out from the best vbr encoding thanks

    There are some real nifty setting tweaks, inside that program. Best bet is to download the manual from the CDEx site and have a good read. Your gonna kill plenty of trees though, its huge
    CDEx is a funny ripper because I can set it up to rip mega fast with one 48 speed CD Rom drive, yet its really slow with another. I guess it also depends on your hardware.

    this is one reason i didn't want to hack this app so i can add it to CobraII. I wanted something that can rip CD's REALLY fast and the only one out there that can do it is AudioCatalyst.
