So you got control over WMP's equalizer? Share your secret

Hence 99% control of WMP. That's the only thing that I've found impossible to control through the ActiveX plugin. Pretty stupid on Microsoft's part that you can't access any of the audio or video tweaks through the ActiveX. Not even WMP10 supports it.

The only thing I found was eq support in the skin definition file which is useless.

But yes - I have built an ActiveX control that uses the Windows Mixer to adjust the EQ setting of the "custom" tab for my santa cruz sound card. Not as easy, but works.

How does frodo player compare to mediacar?
I have mediacar right now and I like its functionality (although I do have some complaints ) but I like also my alpine skin that matches with my HU. I did have several problems with the winamp app it used. Suggestions?

What advantages/funcitonality does frodo have over mediacar??
    Just getting started...

Well, FrodoPlayer uses WMP instead of Winamp.

I use NMC and love it. It's still being developped actively and Netsuo really listens to users AND skinners (has a very nice skinning app included).

He will include the D3 sdk into the front-end, and that will be a first, afaik.

Also, it doesn't use wmp/winamp but does have an equalizer! Very important for me.
