matrix orbital mp3 software options??
I may have made a mistake.
I went out an bought a matrix orbital 4X20 serial LCD to use with FMPX, now it seems I've decieded that software is too buggy becuase i can't get the damn thing to display properly on my lcd anymore (it was working fine) also, I have never been able to get the tsr working.
but now I'm looking for alternatives...
does anyone have any suggestions?
I did find that software that uses a gravis gamepad or PB remote and right now that seems like its the best option.
Well if you dont mind switching to windows and winamp I have a Visual Basic Program that Displays to a matrix orbital display and gets input from either WinLirc (with my Packard Bell Fast Media Remote) or the keypad on the LCD display or you could just use it to display to your matrix orbital display and use something else to control it.

you can get WinLirc at http://home.jtan.com/~jim/winlirc/ and you need it for control thru Remote I will send you the program I am using but it may be a little buggy since you will be the first person besides me to use it. if you program in VB or have a copy of VB laying around I would be glad to send the source code. I use VB 6.0 so you will need to download the VB 6.0 dll's (I think they still have runtime dll's?) I will try to help as much as I can getting it up and running and let me know if there is anything else you would like to see in it also. Yeah Jay I know you it's Shawn I was wondering what you are driving now ? I saw you got rid of your honda in another post. I have been hanging around on this board reading for a while but only started posting recently (within the last few weeks I think).
