I am wondering what applications people are using to sync files on the CarPC. I have a CarPC with Wifi and looking for a suitable application. Whats best?

I use a program called Replicator from Karenware.com which works wonders. Very very easy to use. You can either use it standalone or it's included with Frodoplayer.

Karenware replicator works great to get the initial load of stuff over... after that Offline folders work well although you do have a little more overhead on your system...

You might be fine for MP3's but you're going to have a heck of a time with divx. Well, that depends on the size. Mine are around 700-800 megs so your looking at 20-30mins a peice. A long time to sit with the engine running in your driveway.
I use a removable HD that fits in a 5 1/4 bay. Slide it out and slide it into my home desktop, drag the files over then take the HD with me next time I leave and put it back in the car.
There is a program out there called "ghost files"
made by http://www.lowrieweb.com/ghostfiles.htm ...it $30 but there is a trial.
I have had this program for quite sometime and I use to use it to replicate stuff over to my webserver (for website back up purposes)
all it requires is some drive mappings ...works wonderfully

basically you have to have a mapped drive.... you then right click on it.. and say make files and folders available offlineOriginally Posted by camsgs3
