Thread: MPXF TSR problems

I have the same problem. Dont know how to fix it either. I know you have to do somthing with mpxftsr.exe.

Ok, first off here's how the mpxftsr works. It basically is a program that stays resident in the systems memory (TSR) and copies certain lines of the Mpxplay display to the LCD. Yes it has to run under DOS (mode- not in a window) to work, and yes you do have to go into the TSR config file to get things working properly.

The TSR doesn't actually read the ID3 tag from the song, mpxplay does that. The TSR just picks a few lines out of the Mpxplay on screen display and throws them out to the LCD. If you are running anything other than the default display of Mpxplay, you have to tell the TSR to compensate (though I haven't quite figured that out myself).

If you are seeing things ok when running MPXF, then I assume you got Mpxflcd.cfg working properly. Have you done anything with Mpxftsr.cfg? Are you running the TSR at all?
