GPS Voice Capabilities
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to hear the voice navigations of GPS programs over the sounds coming from Winamp or other software...or do you have to turn one off to hear the other?

if i remember correctly i had winamp configured so that i could listen to it at the same time as some games by using the directsound plugin in the preferences now not all programs will allow this i know some of my games and such didn't but try it it may solve that question

That is a good question. I have the Delorme products that have the voice directions.
The voice is very quiet compaired to other sound devices.
My MP3s play at one level and the voice is below that, but there is only one volume control that handles them.
However usually I can hear something in the background, pause the music, and am able to hear the full direction, but still I have to turn the receiver up a bit.
It would be nice if you could have the voice nav coming out one sound card, and the MP3s out of another.
I haven't solved this problem yet.
