CobraIII....request line!
Ok now that i am pretty much done with CobraII and the final RELEASE! will probably be v3.50, i am now thinking about CobraIII. Lets just say it will have pretty much all the features CobraI and CobraII has and some more. It will work with both TFT and LCD's. I would like to know from users, what features they would like to see. I will will try and answer all request.....Let me take out my note book

I'm not sure if this feature is already enabled in CobraII or not (doesn't seem to work in 2k for me as of yet) but what about customizable colors of the screens on the LCD?
nope...not on NT or 2k. It use to work on NT until i started doing some low level routines that NT security features won't allow...... Anyway why are ppl using NT/2k for their setup in the car???
BTW, your request is noted. I will also make sure i can get it to work on NT as well as 2k.

I would like to see cobra have custom colors so u could make it look differnt to match you liking. I also think full keybboard support so when your searching for songs you could use keyboard.

One thing i think would be cool to see is a memo porgram or a simple PIM application built into the software for serial and parrellel LCDs. I could have text input similar to what mpxf has for database nameing.
I no this strays away for mp3 playing but it would be neat to add functionality to a serial lcd screen.
NOTED: i believe u are refering to the Roladex type feature that CobraII has.

Support For the Packard Bell Fast Media Remote or WinLIRC http://home.jtan.com/~jim/winlirc/ so I can use my Packard Bell receiver (if you know how to get it to work some other way I would be more than willing to try it) and I dont know if CobraI supports it or not but matrix orbital serial LCD displays.
And now in full dream mode - how about plugins for it so that if somebody wanted support for a new program they could make their own plugin of some kind to support it or if they wanted some other way to control it than the many ways you already have built in they could make their own.
