Question mpfx for mpxpl 1.43 support?

Does anyone know where to find or who to mail to get mpx 1.43 support using mpxf?

Has someone build a new version based on the sourcecode of 1.4 version of mpx.

I don't know anything of pascal, though if someone could give me a basic direction where to look I probably could help myself out.

Anyway, any info is very helpfull!

    thx

Attila has finally been convinced and released the source for MPXPLAY... maybe somebody could translate MPXF and join both to make something very customized for the MP3Car scene...?

    Anybody know C/ASM/Pascal ?

If someone can get MPXPlay to compile and show me how, AND
If there is high enough demand for this to be done, I can probably move most of the features from MPXF into MPXPlay.

Well I was willing to do that since the day MPxPlay's source code was released. Only trouble is finding the watcom C/C++ compiler?
Anyone can help me out with this?
The rest shouldnt take that long...

And i dont really have time to sit down there and convert the code to DJGPP or Borland C/C++.

    Hi Cold Blood,
I had to stop using MPXF and MPXFTSR because it kept crashing my computer. I'd be all for a merge of these two programs.

    merging MPXplay and MPXf

    http://mpxplay.tripod.com/mpxsrc.zip

that link is for the latest version of mpxplay released and it comes with instructions on how to get watcom c/c++ and how to compile it. watcom c/c++ is a free download. the source code for mpxf is also available:

    http://www.radioactivesoft.com/mpxf/mpxf_source.zip

PLEASE! do this thing of merging the two that you talk about. also if you are a code guru can you implement a way that mpxplay starts up with the last m3u file you last loaded right now it only supports continue of last played song ONLY if you load the same playlist at startup but i listen to many different playlist. I just graduated from highschool a couple months ago. I plan on going to a community tech/college school and paying for just a couple classes to learn c+/c++ code but right now I do not have the skillz to implement these changes myself.

YOU CODE GURUS ROCK! FOR REAL!

I hope all this really happens it will be soo amazing just to note my computers boot time (time from when i turn it on till it starts playing music) with mpxplay right now is 6 seconds that is why i really really want to use it

thanks soo much guys keep this thread alive ppplllllleeeeaaaassseee.

    Unoffical Updated "MPXF 1.44"

I rewrote parts of MPXF's TSR to make it compatible with MPXPlay 1.43+, a while back. When all was said and done I ended up sticking with my own software.

But just in case it's useful to someone, here it is:

    Unoffical Updated MPXF:
    http://techworld.dyndns.org/download/mpxf_144.zip

    Source Code:
    http://techworld.dyndns.org/download/mpxf144s.zip

MPXFTSR kept giving me a runtime error 202. Changing the "STACKS" value in the config.sys to "STACKS=18,512" solved the problem.

    See readme.144 for further info.
