Post Looks like Linux is the way to go for MP3Cars

A Linux fan friend of my heard me complain about boot up time and tipped me about this writeup. Looks way too amazing. Booting up too fast for the HD's to spin up:

Linux partially on bios They say their shortest boot time is ~3 sec. It is OpenSource and Freeware, but they say their version is unstable. And a BIOS is different from board to board.. hmm.. interresting though

The motherboards BIOS supporting this is a bit consideration to remember..... im sure you could screw up a BIOS if you get it wrong.... really cool though...!

I wonder if you could make a BIOS to restore a WinME hibernate session (on that has hibernated to disc), that would be a quicker boot surely than running the OS from the start.....?
    Project - GAME OVER :(
