it might be your winamp version. if you are in winnt/2k you have to download the special portio dll on his site. best of luck

Maybe your plugin output is set wrong, to a serial output instead of parallel(remember to stop it if it's started before you change), I recommend onscreen simulation first.
Make sure before you start playing songs, the vis plugin is spectrum analyzer, and the general purpose plugin for the lcd is configured correctly.
Also edit the gen_lcd.ini with the data from the samples so you can get a descent idea of what it can do.

First, goto the plugins directory and rename the vis*.dll and gen*.dll to .old to disable the plugins. Then try to open Winamp and see if it crashes. If not try renaming plugin files one by one until winamp crashes. It might be a plugin conflict. I had a similiar problem with winamp plugins and this was the solution.

I TRYIED TO GET HIS PLUGIN TO WORK, BUT IT NEVER WORKED. EMAIL HIM A FEW TIMES BUT NEVER HEARD BACK. LOOKS LIKE HE HAS A GOOD PROGRAM THAT CAN MAKE CUSTOMIZING THE OUTPUT EASY. NOW IF IT WOULD JUST WORK WITH MY SETUP.

DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE PREVIEW VERSION WILL WORK WITH THE CF632 OR OTHER CF LCD.

I'AM RUNNING WINDOWS 98 WITH CF632. AND THE LCD COMES UP BLANK WITH A CURSOR. LCD IS GOOD USE TO WORK FINE WITH MPXF.

Just got my 2 lcd from eio.com
    a LM4034 and a L2014 wired them bouth
and tested with lcdprint and it worked.
But this plugin will work only with the 4x20
not with the 4x40. I have tried divernd output variations but nothing seem to work.
Using only row 1 nothing's wrong.
    Using row 1 and 2 nothing's wrong
Using row 1,2& 3 row 3 moves to row 2
    Using row 1,2,3&4 row 4moves to row 1 and 3 to 2.
Is it in the plugin that somthing goes wrong on a 4x40
Let me know what your exp. are
