Btw, that's for the component. No per user fee, unless used in a commercial app.
Then it'll be a $2 fee per install.
If I released my XM ActiveX control for $10 would anyone buy it ?
This is for developers only. It's just a control.
I have it almost complete, and it was a lot of work !

I would, but we don't have XM in New Zealand. At least i don't think so?
We are, will have and forever will be...
But not tommorrow!
I think this would be really useful for programmers that are developing out of the US... I can see NeoCar media center using this, if it makes it easy to develope... Netsuo lives in switzerland, and although many users have asked for XM support, it wouldnt be possible for him to directly develop it, so he would probably benefit from an activex component... whether he'd pay is another question...hehehe
(Let me make it clear that I also live abroad so it wouldnt be useful for me)
It's a possibility, I'd have to look at the SDK (if there is one) Also I wonder how that'll run in .NET...
Are there different version's or XM systems ?? If you could design a web site that explains all of this then I would most likely buy it. It's worth the money to spend to possibly save me the time.

Without question... I would
Since I know Mr. Baggins, I'm also sure that he'll come up with a .NET version as well on request (regardless the fact that an ActiveX control can be used from within .NET as well).
Skinning to go... VisualDesigner2!
Cool. Yeah, it will be released with a full example.

It will work with both the XM PCR, and the XM Direct.Originally Posted by IntellaWorks

And after discussions with Zorro last night, I decided
to make the control fully hibernate aware. Which means
you won't have to do anything to support hibernate.
The events will just stop, and resume.
