Thread: using parallel port lcd

Could anyone give me an example of how you would have thing such as text strings or variables or whatever displayed on a parallel port lcd, like in C or VB? is it really hard to do?

i think if i just got the basic idea of how to do it it would be easier to figure out.. but i havent read anything giving an example of how to actually output characters you want to a parallel port display... thanks
