    Post winamp as shell

    hey... i have tried putting the program path under the shell part of the system.ini file, but windows can't find the program (thank god for edit on a floppy... ) i have searched the forum to no avail...

    how do i go about making winamp my shell?

    try changing it to shell=d:\progra~1\winamp\winamp.exe
    I dont know if it'll work, but its worth a try or maybe
    shell="d:\program files\winamp\winamp.exe"

    yeah eithe one of those tips should work. It has to do with Window API long path thing. That seems to be on of the areas MS didn't touch when it comes to changing shell. I discovered this when designing CobraI.

    That should fix it. I've had a couple of people e-mail me with questions... guess I should put that on my site.
