    Originally I though I would only do artist and album names, but since you guys have good results with song names too, I'm gonna do those too. Looks like I'm gonna have to learn how to acess DB from Delphi. And yes, I could definately use a hidden web browser (not IE for those that removed it) to play the songs. But this is a few releases away.

    As far as Artist / Songname I find that the orginazation is highly un formatted. I realize you can find the artist and songname from either the file name or the ID3 tags but coding this can be a logical nightmare !!

    It would be nice to get some functions already written out on the web

    I know what you mean. I looked at Frodo's DB, and some songs have things in (), etc :|

    If you use xml the data is very easy to define and process. There are lots of libraries in just about every language to read and write xml. Just convert the id3 info into xml and throw it into one big file. That is what I am doing.
