    Wink suspend to ram...winamp skips

    Hi to all,

I have been using windows me along with winamp for awhile with no problems until I use the suspend to ram feature. When the computer returns from suspend, winamps will skip for the first few seconds or skip to a different song. Has anyone had a problem with this or can offer a fix???

Oh...and my lcd plug-in fails to work when I return from suspend also...

Thanks in advance for anyones help with this.

I can assure you WindowsME/2k is resetting the com/lpt ports when it comes back from hibernation mode thus making what ever u had hooked to these port to stop functioning. I discovered this with CobraIII and adjusted mine . Only thing i didn't even bother doing was the LCD module which i prolly wont even look into.... Anyway to get it to work, you might need to contact who ever wrote that plugin and see if they will be willing to venture into fixing it WHICH i seriously doubt. knowing how plugins work not to mention that winamp runns it, i doubt it CAN be fixed

This gives me a great idea. I might be able to whip something up that could fix that problem.

It would be if someone could write a program that would run a bunch of programs after winMe comes back from hibernation or STR. Everything stops working...
Might as well do a cold bootup.
