frodoplayer.. for sure.. Frodo uses a database which is a absolute pro!
That's what I think...
The centrafuse featureset is probably the msot complete:
integrated (almost) navigation
integrated phone
video
audio
radio
weather
traffic
it sounds perfect, but using it I cant really get used to it.... cant pinpioint exactly why... the music library for one, and some other sutff.... we'll see if I get used to it when some better skins come out, i dont really like the "squard layout" it uses
In the meantime I use NMC (NeoCar)

im trying to fix up meedio to see what else it can do, (but still using media car)
heres a screen shot off meedio,
i didnt make the whole thing my self i just modded the beach theme.
Now that I have time to look through, centerfuge use the same concept I was using on AIS frontend. I am glad someone took and ran with the idea.
With that said, its still not the best frontend for my taste so...

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway

I havnt installed a car pc yet.... but I was wondering if using Windows Media Center would be good to use as a front end. It has the full media player features including video, music, pictures, mp3, xm radio (using internet connection) and the ability to run external for stuff like gps navigation. I was also wondering what programs people use for viewing rear and front view cameras... and how you reverse the image you get from one of those.
